Thanking Chattanooga’s Yia Yias

Greece has a long history of celebrating moms. Mothers and grandmothers – or “Yia Yias” – play integral roles in the family, and ours is no different. Here at Acropolis, our own Yia Yia, Ms. Betty is known far and wide for being not just a mother to the Kyriakidis family, but to everyone who walks through our doors.

It is with her loving spirit and skilled hand that we welcome our Chattanooga family to join in the celebration as we thank the important women in our lives this Mother’s Day. We hope you come to see us this 2022 Mother’s Day weekend in Chattanooga to celebrate all the important women in your life. 

In addition to our full Mediterranean menu, we’re offering several Mother’s Day specials she is sure to love, such as Parmesan Crusted Trout, Stuffed Flounder, and Grilled Lamb “Porterhouse” Chops. As a specialty dessert, in addition to the usual favorites such as the Strawberry Cake or the Hummingbird Cake, we’re thrilled to share a Lemon Blueberry Cake– a seasonal specialty!
